How we use your information

This privacy notice tells you what to expect when Majestic Driveways collects personal information. It applies to information we collect about:

Visitors to our website

When someone visits majesticdriveway.com we use a third party service, Google Analytics, to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. This information is only processed in a way which does not identify anyone. We do not make, and do not allow Google to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website. If we do want to collect personally identifiable information through our website, we will be up front about this. We will make it clear when we collect personal information and will explain what we intend to do with it. In addition to Google Analytics we may use other third party services to collect details about specific user interactions and behaviours. Again, this information is only processed in a way which does not identify anyone.

Third party website widgets and functionality

We use additional widgets from third party review such as Trustpilot to embed recent customer reviews and feedback scores into our website pages. These widgets may use cookies to gain statistical data and measure traffic from our pages as well as the geographical area of visitors.

People who use Majestic Driveway services

Majestic Driveway sells, installs and maintains driveway services. We have to hold the details of the people who have requested service in order to provide it. To deliver services under the guarantee, we will need to retain some personal information of customers for the period of the guarantee and any subsequent period during which there might be any liability. However, we only use these details to provide the service the person has requested and for other closely related purposes. For example, we might use information about people who have requested a quotation to carry out a survey to find out if they are happy with the level of service they received or to offer additional products or services via telephone, SMS or email. When people do not wish to further contacted, they can make their wishes known and are given an appropriate way of doing this. During the processing of orders it may be necessary to pass contact details of customers to third parties to facilitate the delivery of services. Examples of when this would be done are when specialist gate-way services are required, third party surveys are necessary or to process queries and complaints.
